Beef It or Leave It
Big Fat Cow has been delivering the self described tones of Cowpoke Fuzz since 2022. Based out of Kansas City, Mo, the herd first met in KA Studios, where Noah and Kole had just finished wrapping up the band’s first project, “Glutton for Punishment”. Wanting to play the newly written songs live, Alex and Matt were roped in, transforming the folk tones of Glutton for Punishment into the louder, fuzzier, and more experimental sound that Big Fat Cow is known for today.
Big Fat Cow continued to develop their sound as they worked on “Behold the Soil!” and “Garbage in, Garbage Out.”, the first two projects that the band worked on all together. Still driven by the folk tradition, Big Fat Cow leans into 3 part harmonies and whining lead guitars while not being afraid to get their feet wet trying out new styles. Big Fat Cow has made a name for themselves as the band that sounds just like that one other band that you can’t quite remember the name of.
Big Fat Cow can be found on stages all over the Midwest, playing songs that will have you on your feet dancing one moment while the next you are wondering why you are crying in the basement of a house show.
